Matt is a dedicated professional who’s deeply immersed in the world of diving — specifically, maintaining, installing, and refinishing Duraflex springboards and stands. Since 2016 Matt has poured his heart and soul into this work, showing a strong commitment to safety, quality, and high standards.
Matt is passionate about diving and its community. He expresses a genuine commitment to enhancing the experience for participants and ensuring that diving boards are as safe and well-maintained as possible. A self-proclaimed “moral capitalist,” Matt aims to maximize outcomes more than margins. He values precision, dedication, and the satisfaction of seeing a job well done, especially when it serves a larger purpose.
More than just a job, this work holds real meaning for Matt. He has a desire to elevate the sport and make an impact on the facilities and athletes who rely on his expertise. Growing Devise Diving means exploring new ways to improve, whether through better materials, innovative techniques, or potential partnerships.
Matt has been both an NCAA Division-I diver and coach, as well as running or owning multiple club programs. A native of Northeast Ohio, Matt and his wife Nikki are raising their daughters to embody the same sense of drive, passion, and care for others that guide their operation of Devise Diving.
