Leveling & Alignment
A small change can make a big difference. Our leveling & alignment service is focused on safety and optimal performance. We make precise adjustments to diving stands using specialized tools and custom plastic shims designed to withstand an aquatic environment. We address any deviations to ensure the diving platform is perfectly balanced, stable, in exact alignment, and of course, dead level.
As part of Devise Diving’s Leveling & Alignment service, we:
Carefully detach the guardrails and remove the diving board, allowing full access to the stand and anchor points.
Loosen the anchors connecting the stand to the pool deck, allowing the stand to move freely for accurate leveling adjustments.
Identify and use the highest point on the deck as a reference for the leveling process to ensure precise adjustments.
Use a set of precision plastic shims in various thicknesses (1/16” to 1/2”) to adjust the front and back stands individually. Each stand is leveled from the ground up to establish a stable foundation.
Adjust both stands together to ensure the board itself will sit perfectly level, providing true balance from end to end.
Position the front and back stands so the board sits centered between them, ensuring uniform alignment that keeps the board from rubbing against guardrail arms or at an angle to the fulcrum.
Tighten all anchors securely, and reattach the diving board and guardrails, completing the leveling and alignment process.

FAQ
Is the distance to the water addressed in an alignment & leveling?
Yes, assuming all equipment is the proper model for your pool setup. As water levels can vary slightly, international standards allow for +0.05m (< 2”) tolerance to the designated height. We can increase the board height up to 1”. Devise Diving can work with you on replacing stands that are out of tolerance.
How often should I have my diving board leveled and aligned?
Is the distance to the water addressed in an alignment & leveling?
Can leveling and alignment improve diving performance?
Yes, proper alignment ensures smooth board movement, maximizing spring action for higher jumps and better dives.
Can leveling and alignment be done on both new and older equipment?
Absolutely! We adjust both new and existing equipment to ensure it meets safety and performance standards.
Will I need to have my equipment re-leveled if it is relocated?
Yes, relocation can affect alignment. Re-leveling ensures your equipment functions safely and correctly in its new position.
