Our starting block refinishing service brings our superior non-slip texture to worn starting blocks, giving every swimmer confidence in their takeoffs. We strip the old surface and prep your starting blocks for resurfacing, then coat and implement design features like logos & lane numbers. You get starting blocks with pro-level grip that are unique to your team/facility.
As part of Devise Diving’s Starting Block Refinishing service, we:
Remove the blocks from the deck.
Assess the blocks and identify areas needing special attention.
Strip the old surface and prep the blocks for optimal coating adhesion.
Paint with a premium two-part polysiloxane (epoxy) coating that stands up to UV and weather exposure, protects against corrosion, and repels water.
Apply any requested graphics (logos, lane numbers, etc.)
Integrate a non-slip texture using our own blend of silica-sands.
Cure the block to ensure maximum adhesion and durability.
Deliver and reinstall the blocks.
